Corniche was one of the first brands I covered here on Ivy Time so it is no surprise that I return to them for their latest release. From the launch of the Heritage 40 to the present, this brand has captured the attention of entry-level market. Frankly Corniche did everything right, an effective social media presence, a unique brand identity and an affordable/well-made product. Release after release it is not hard to see why people love these watches. The latest member of the Corniche family, the Visage N°2 gives watch lovers yet another reason to be drawn to this brand.
The Visage N°2 is the first new release of 2016 for Corniche which naturally makes this particular watch a little more special than the rest. As with other Corniche offerings, the Visage N°2 (brother of the Visage N°1) will be offered in a limited quantity of 399 pieces. Capturing all that we like about Corniche design, the Visage N°2 features a graphite blue dial and arabic numerals. The delicate blend of sport and refinement just in time for the spring, did not go unnoticed. With this pastel color palette, the Visage N°2 should be an easy purchase for someone seeking a great wrist companion for the warmer weather. I could really see this watch being a show-stopper on a grey NATO strap but that’s my personal preference. As a quick aside, I have to say the packaging for all Corniche products is second to none and it always has been. From the high-quality case to the leather glove and every other little detail, they just get it and oftentimes that is not the case with smaller brands. If you don’t believe me see for yourself.
