Watchville: The App For Watch Lovers
Serial entrepreneur and Digg Co-Founder, Kevin Rose is trying to take horology into the 21st century. Rose recently launched the app Watchville. Watchville is a one-stop-shop app for all watch industry news and a boatload of other features.
Aggregating news from Hodinkee, aBlogToWatch, Watch Time, and many others, the app provides users with access to some of the most prestigious watch blogs in the business. Outside of the latest watch news, Watchville also integrates an atomic clock and moon phase calendar. The atomic clock is synced in real time to over 100 atomic time servers to guarantee precision. Likewise, the moon phase calendar, UTC Time, and leap year indicator functionality round out the robust nature of this app.
Rose struck gold with the app and budding watch enthusiasts like myself owe him our gratitude. As the industry moves closer and closer to expanding offerings in the entry-level space, Watchville provides the perfect platform to digest the latest content from industry giants. In the months and years to come it would be great to see content from Ivy Time on Watchville, in the meantime download the app, and you can thank me later.
