Baselworld 2015 showed the world that the watch industry still has a few tricks up its sleeve. With the announcement of new models coming from the likes of Patek, Nomos, Omega, and Longines to name a few, there is a lot to be excited about in the coming days and months. The focus of this article will be a new release from a more affordable brand- SEVENFRIDAY
Zurich based brand SEVENFRIDAY is a newcomer to the watch world but in a few short years they have managed to gather a cult like following. I have covered SEVENFRIDAY in the past and it comes to no surprise that their fan base is continuing to grow. I encourage everyone to check out any of their Instagram (see below) fan pages to see what I am talking about, by all accounts the brand has gone global.
SEVENFRIDAY was not left out of the fun at Baselworld in fact, they launched a new model the M2-2. The M2-2 is actually the same as the M-1-1 and M-2-1 models with the exception of the finishing- rose gold PVD. For this offering SEVENFRIDAY announced production of only 2000 pieces which will hit the market in May. The M2-2 is priced at 1474 CHF before taxes which roughly translates to $1500 USD.
